You should do something = It's a good thing to do or the right to do.
We can use should to give advice or to give an opinion.
You look tired. You should go to bed.
You have many homeworks. You should do it.

That is correct but in the second example the correct way to say it would be “You have a lot of homework. You should do it�. :wink:
