This is one section in a song...

" You should'v never gone to Hollywood"

The title of this song is 'Lost in Hollywood' by System Of A Down.

How shoud I make a negative sentence by using "should have p.p or have p.p"?

ex)Should (not) have p.p?
or... Should have (not) p.p?

They both sound right.

The action in the first sentence is having done somthing. The beginning of the sentence tells you that you should not (shouldn't) have done it. Seeings as the conjuction for should and not (shouldn't) would go before "have", it's fine.

The action in the second sentence is not having done soemthing. The beginning of the sentence tells you that you should have done something, something being not having done (whatever it is that is being done).

I hope that isn't confusing. If it is, I'd be glad to rephrase it.
