Hi everybody,
I' am Maria and I have been living in Texas for almost 10 years, but I was born in Chihuahua, Mexico. You might think that living in USA is enough to learn English in a fast way, however when you start to learn another language in your 40's, and when in your home the only language is Spanish, it turns to be difficult. I would like to be able to speak English fluently in order to get a good job. So, I think this will be a good way to practice English, and improve my skills.

I agree. Living in another country doesn't always mean that you can quickly pick up the new language. It takes time and effort.

Hello there! Yes, same here. Want my English language too to be good 100% if possible (LOL) so I could get a job, and not nervous during interviews, and not having difficulty talking with other Americans as well.

Hi everyone! I am Lana. I am in America for 12 years and still have problems with English. Not only I understand about 70% of what people say, they have difficulties understanding me. I need some help with improving my language. I recently tried to enroll into College and there was an Accuplacer test. I took it with 93% score. College didn't take me. I also know I won't be able to study alone. So, there I am.
