How to use this message board - Please read!

Post by James Trotta »

This message board is and will always be free. The idea is to share interesting examples of English vocabulary words in use. That way, we can get a better idea of how words can be used to communicate ideas. If you want to write messages please register; it only takes a few minutes.

Before writing a message, please check to see if the word you want to write about has already been discussed. It's better to "post reply" than to "start new topic". If we can keep all the examples of one word in the same place it will be much easier for people to study that word.

For example, if you have an interesting example of the word status, you should not start a new topic. Instead you should reply to the existing messages about status. Then when someone wants to study the word status, all the example sentences will be together.[/b]

Hi Yarley and welcome to ESLgo.com

To get better using English, you have to practice communicating in English. Now we don't have listening practice yet, but by discussing whatever topics you find interesting, you practice your grammar and vocabulary. You can do that on your own by finding interesting things to talk about on the message board. Or you can take an online class in which I pick the topics and correct errors: http://eslgo.com/classes/free-conversation/
