meaning : If a group is absorbed into a larger group, it becomes part of the larger group.

example : It's a lot of information to absorb all at once

It means to take in liquid, gas, or another substance from the surface or space around something

1.Plants absorb nutrients from the soil.
2.Water and salts are absorbed into our blood stream.
