What is a good way to say it in English

Post by tomsmith » Sat Nov 14, 2015 12:00 am

Hi,

Someone who wants to quit her job, but she doesn't want to tell her boss the real reason for quit. What is a good way to say it in English? Can she says that "Do to personal reason, I want to quit my job"?

Thanks,

Hi there Tom. You can say something like: I need to leave the job for personal reasons.

You can also add a little something if you want to leave on good terms: I enjoyed working with you and I appreciate the opportunities I had here to learn and grow.
