Hello,
I'm from South Korea.

In my case, duel with my boyfriend, I cried and turned my back from him. At that situation, he just stared at me. He couldn't help it. I think he was confused how could he handle the problem. This hesitated attitude inflamed me. In consequence, I went back my room and he stayed some minutes.
After apologizing, I asked him why he did not any respond about my crying. He said, like I mention, he did not know how to deal with my condition.

In Korea, it is said that men don't cry easily.
But I think men also have a lot of tears, because men are also human and they have feeling of sadness like women.

Both men and women cry when they lose their love.

When their parents die, they must cry both men and women.
There aren't any rule that allow to cry.

I think after women and men are fighting each other, women tend to cry intentionally to get men's sympathetic feelings or apology. However if men do this kind of behavior, it would look weird and unmanly. I don't know if other countrys have this kind of men and women difference, but in Korea it is prevalent.
