I really do not like smoking. I have been very happy to see the laws change to limit smoking over the last few decades. When I first started to work as a teacher in high school , the faculty room was full of smoke. It was literally hard to see the people because of all the smoke!

For many years, my friends and I did not go to clubs or taverns because of the smoke. Now that NJ prohibits smoking in these places we go from time to time.

Yes, I really like being able to go to smoke-free bars and stuff. In Seoul we don't really have smoke-free bars. I don't really drink much anyway so it's no big deal but still - when I do go out I prefer not to inhale poison.

I am a musician in Iowa and I know a lot of people hated it but I was really glad when they banned smoking in all public places including bars and clubs. It's so much easier to sing than when the room is full of smoke to choke on.

when I was young , I had been sent to orphanage.

in there I learned smoking, so I have been smoking for 13years

I know smoking is very harmful.

I want to cut smoking for my health.but I can't ..

beacuse I am addicted to it.

Smoking was relaxing and calm for me. so when I have just little time, I go out and smoke

now I have a respiratory disease and I am frequently sick with a cold .

I regret bitterly

Drinking and Smoking

Post by 200920891 NaHwi »

When I was freshman, there are many party.
And the parties must had a lot of soju :!:
So I got drunk and went back home at late evening.
And when I woke up in the morning, I lost part of memory about last night, even how I got back to home.
Having awful hangover is a natural result.
I was starting to worry about dementia from alcoholic.

And I worked at a billiard hall last year.
I worked weekends for 4 months.
As you know, most of customers of billiard hall are heavy smokers.
So I easily exposed secondhand smoking when I was working.
At first, it was really painful bacause I'm not smoker.
I acclimatized myself to the secondhand smoking soon.
But acclimatizing to harmful thing is very dangerous.
So I had quit this work.

We have to start concerning our health right now.
Because health is an important wealth.

I agree with you at some part.
However, thanks to the Korean culture, it is not easy to be away from drinking and smoking.
All we need is adjusting ourselves.
You said you started worry about your health.
So, could you really quit drinking at all?

And smoking accelerates aging process of skin.
In addition tobacco give unpleasant feelings to others.

If you quit smoking , you can save the money and keep yours body in good condition.
