Do you have any habitual gestures that comes out when you are nervous?

When I am very nervous I tend to cover my noes and mouth at the same time with a hand. (It's possible when your hand stands vertically.)
I know it looks ridiculous but I can't help but do it because this habit had built long long ago.
One of my high school teacher told me to overcome the ridiculous habit since it makes me look stupid and unconfident.
So I try to get myself out of a habit, holding my hands each other when one of them is likely to go up to my noes and hands. But it's hard.

This is my case. Tell us about your case and what you are doing to get rid of that habitual gestures if any.
Thank you for reading :D

When I'm nervous I start shaking my leg and breathe deeply.
I think my psychological tension is transfered to my leg.
By shaking my leg my psychological tension is decreased little bit and I can be distracted from what I'm nervous about.
And I breathe deeply when I'm nervous so I can calm down.

Nervous or not, I always shake my legs. I've been shaking my legs through my entire life and am still on my way kicking the habit. When nervous, I use Busanese accents. I used to live in that Province until six.

When I am nervous, I tough my hair very much I twist them and keep on rubbing my hair. Also I cover my mouth or shake my legs. These are the things that I do when I am nervous but I am trying to fix these habits.

When I get nervous, i start biting my fingernails. If i don't have nails to bite off, then i start twisting and braiding my fingers together. I just dont seem to be able to keep my hand still when i'm nervous. My hands feel really awkward and i feel like i need something in my hands to comfort me... I really hate this habit though because it makes me look really jumpy.

When I am nervous, I bite my nails. I am trying to stop it but it is not easy for me to fix the habit. So, my nails often become very short before an exam or a presentation.

When I am not nervous and do my ordinary things, I usually shake my legs. It is just one of my habits. But, stuck in a nervous situation, I stop shaking my legs and try to be calm in order to show others that I am not nervous. However, many people who see me behave in this way tell me like this: "you look much more nervous when you are put in an uneasy situation because you try to hide your natural behavior!" I do this for concealing my nervousness, but I think it doesn't work.

First of all, when I am nervous, I usually say rapidly. And I can't remember what I said to people after the speech. Also, my hands are dripping wet with sweat. And when I reach the limit, I bite my fingernail lightly. These things are the habits when I get nervous.

When I am nervous, I usually shake my legs and keep breathing deeply. Because of my deep sigh, most people notice that I am nervous and tell me everything's gonna be fine. However, when I try to stop sighing, I feel dizzy due to the nervousness.

I videotaped myself delivering speeches and found out that I constantly touch my hair.
It was very hard to look at the video because I looked very unprofessional.
But I fixed my problem and I try not to do it again during presentation.

When I get nervous, I usually dab at my ears not to think about a thing or situation that makes me nervous. Sometimes I rap the table with my finger, making annoying sound.

I start talking a lot of nonsense things when i get nervous. And i am constantly shaking my leg. In the situation of being nervous rather than habitual gestures its more about your body reacting to it for example having red ears, sweaty hands and forehead. These are more of a sign than gestures.

When I am nervous I usuaully draw my hair back over my ears and cover my mouth.
I think there are more gestures I do but I don't know. Besides gestures, I talk faster and I don't know what I'm talking about even when I'm nervous.
They are very natural things so I don't think it can be fixed perfectly but I try to do it by asking to friends let me know whenever I talk faster.
