Having a presentation is always hesitated and difficult, so I can't show my prepared stuff all the time.
Without a doubt, repetitive practice and certain memorization are common way to be a good presenter.
Those things are very basic and needed.
I'd like to know your secret method to do well. In my case, I do advance presentation by myself and drink some coke before it starts.
It is very important to throw the tension away.

Like you said, repetitive practices and definite memorization is obviously a answer to your questions. Like many people, I am afraid of speaking in front of many people. Of course, it is not because of the lack of my preparation but my innate predisposition which is complexity for me. To solve my complexity, I practice with my puppy. At first I started it with dulls commonly, but I changed it because at least my puppy is alive. As your expectation, I think it as person. It may be somewhat ridiculous but it has helped me a lot. But most important point is that while I talk with puppy, I am do practice the speech. Anyway it is one of the repetitive practices, but your imagination that seeing puppy as person is pretty powerful and dominant and helpful.

One of my skills to overcome being nervous in front of many people is a loud laugh.
Before I speak, a loud laugh help me relieving tension.
It also make other people enjoyable, so the speech flow smoothly.
A loud laugh can give a direction to natural and free speech.

I also think that eye contact is the most important communication skill, because it shows that you are participating in the conversation and you look confident in what you are talking about. Avoiding eye contact might seem that I am lack of confidence.
