Teaching English as the global language

Post by star71u » Fri Nov 11, 2011 2:00 pm

There are many countries which use English to their first language or second langauge. Preperably English spreads all around the world. This means It acquires the right to be the global language. In these times, how can we teach this English rightly. Can it be saperated from culture and background knowledge? No way! I can't think of seperation them. Language and culture or custom are combined entirely. Both of them accompany forever. Thus, When we teach English, we always keep the facts in mind. If so whose English should we teach? I think British English is original. American English derived from prior. Both of them are good.
