It is simple sentence but I am not understand about two sentences.

Hi HwangYoungDong,

Suppose Professor Ham was your English teacher, and if I asked him, "Who did you teach?" The answer will be "HwangYoungDong".

Now, I see that your English has been improving, so I want to ask you, HwangYoungDong, "Who taught you?" The answer will be "Professor Ham".

Your first sentence = Someone was teaching something to someone.

Your second sentence = Some one was learning something from
someone.

Thank you for your help.

I am understand it.
But if someone suddenly ask me one of two question, maybe I will be confusing. Because, two sentence are very similar to me. So at least, the man will be waited five or ten seconds.
