withdraw
One thing that pissed me off about the music department at Hofstra was when they canceled a voice leading class. It was a required course and the prerequisite for some other required courses. They said I would have to go to the registrar's office and officially withdraw from the class. I thought that was incredibly stupid since the class was cancelled anyway - why should I spend my time withdrawing from a class they didn't even offer?
I didn't, and when I got my report card the course was on there. I had taken a 2 credit course and gotten no grade - no points toward my GPA. It brought my GPA down quite a bit and I was at risk of losing my scholarship. Now those morons are asking me for money!

Re: withdraw
I don't want to withdraw a class however hard it might be. Somehow it seems to ruin my well-formed plan to study.

I'm planning to withdraw intermediate reading course because it is too difficult for me to understand the book and the biggest reason is that I have to wake up at 6 in the morning.

Re: withdraw
The withdrawing process is too complex at our university that I had trouble doing it.
